Dr Dion Lewis is a Sports and Exercise Physician and Fellow of the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians. Since entering the field in 2009, he has developed extensive experience across elite sport and community practice. Based on the Gold Coast, he works with patients of all ages to restore movement, relieve pain, and support long-term physical activity.
Dr Lewis has a strong interest in diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal procedures, including ultrasound-guided corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid, PRP, and perineural injections. He enjoys the technical challenge of using procedures both for diagnostic clarity and to treat musculoskeletal conditions — always guided by the principle that injections are just one component of a carefully considered management strategy. His aim is to provide an expert, streamlined service where diagnosis and intervention are delivered efficiently within the clinic, while rehabilitation and broader contributing factors are addressed in parallel.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Dr Lewis brings the same energy to helping patients stay active as he does to staying active himself. He believes that regular physical activity is the most powerful form of medicine available today, and works closely with patients to overcome barriers to exercise, restore movement, and support long-term health.
